I'm not too worried about promoting the MLS (the latest topic on your blog). Toronto and Seattle were worse off playing in the lower leagues than Vancouver and look where they are now.

As an aside, regarding your GolTV comment for last nights TFC-Philly game, yes GolTV has a crummy picture, that's not just a Telus thing. However on Shaw last night the GolTV broadcast was shown for free in HD on channel 318, I notice the next game is the same (for those on Shaw who have HD). The MLS has mandated that all teams must broadcast their games in HD, and I assume all GolTV games will be on 318 in HD.

Wow that's good to know. That should mean it's somewhere on Telus too hopefully.

My Telus non HD channels are pretty much all shit quality But it's a free HD PVR box so that kinda makes up for it.

I'm just pessimistic about MLS crowds. It's the Scottish in me!

Appreciate the blog--good stuff. One note--I wrote a comment on your latest post but was unable to publish it because I don't subscribe to any of the listed profile services. Normally blogs give the option of just using your name/url or even posting anonymously. That might encourage more comments. Anyhow, on the post about the poor NASL website, what I wanted to say was -

I'm with you on all you said. I gave it about twenty minutes before giving up. Normally I call my sons over to the computer to watch. Not last night. Between the feed and the pathetic turnout in Miami, I was worried I'd kill whatever enthusiasm (considerable)they have for the game.

I was keeping it so it didn't have anonymous posts etc knowing how many dickhead TFC fans there are around, but I can open it up to all and see how it goes.

If there's too many abusive things I'll go back to what it is now.
