I would love to go, but I'll have to see what me rowing schedule's like that weekend. And I'm not particularly good at soccer!.. kinda terrible! haha

If I were in proper shape I'd go. Between us I don't mind playing lazy. If we're gonna play people we don't know, I play to win.

Plus we leave for Spain early Sunday morning.

That being said, more gym time and kickabouts when we get back. :D

I'm a maybe at this point. I'll be away on a business trip and not yet sure if I'll be flying back on the Friday night or the Saturday.

Dan Tanner of the Blarney Stone/England House wonders if the Southsiders will play them in a match:

... you've got a free Saturday on July 24th ... how'd you fancy a friendly football match ... Southsiders Vs England House ... you guys can wear your whitecaps tops and we'll wear England Shirts ... i'm thinking of the smart artificial pitches at Andy Livingstone park downtown ... thought it would be fun ... perhaps in...corporate some sort of charity aspect into it .... think it could be awesome ...

whats going on with the kickabouts? we have a month with no home games.

Just so you know, i play indoor mondays and practice on tuesdays.

can anyone do a weekend kickaround?

My indoor team has rented out Burnaby 8 rinks for tonight starting at 9:30pm. We will just be having a scrimmage as we prepare for the new year. If anybody is interested, please come out. Also, please bring $5 to help pay for the field rental.
